Welcome to the start of the 2019/2020 academic year.   New beginnings and fresh starts.

For most it will mean a new class and different teacher.  For some it will be a new school.  For all it will present opportunities, challenges, sometimes struggles and hopefully pride through achievements, however big or small.

This year we will be introducing a new bespoke curriculum.  “The Linked Curriculum”.   We are very excited about this child centred approach to the curriculum and look forward to telling you more about it at our Parents’ Welcome Evening on Wednesday, 18th September – 7.00pm.    Further details will follow, but it is a wonderful opportunity to meet the class teams who work with your child and to see what a typical school day consists of.

There will be many opportunities for you to get involved with The Link community this year – be it joining the Parents’ Future Group, coming along to one of the workshops or social events we hold, joining The Link Association to help fundraise, but most importantly playing a major part in your child’s learning journey.

Our vision enables us to think about and plan for the future of our children with imagination and wisdom.

Together, we link hands to ensure every child is understood so that they will achieve their full potential.

Overcoming barriers today so that children and parents can look forward to a bright future tomorrow.

Sandy Turner, Headteacher

We cannot thank you enough for all the time and effort you have put into our son. You are amazing and we appreciate everything you have done for us as a family.
