Therapeutic horse riding

Those pupils who are enjoying weekly horse riding lessons at The Diamond Riding Centre are returning each week full of smiles and have settled into the routine really well.

The benefits of horse riding and interaction with horses are multiple, some riders experience a sense of freedom of movement and others find empathy with the horses and can gain a great sense of calm and independence from riding. This can improve social skills and confidence.

Having got to know their horse in previous weeks, they have been told that posture is very important and are learning how to sit correctly on a horse.

We cannot thank you enough for all the time and effort you have put into our son. You are amazing and we appreciate everything you have done for us as a family.
