Pupils Host Charity Afternoon Tea

Members of our School Council proved to be excellent hosts as they greeted and welcomed parents to our Macmillan Afternoon Tea.

Our thanks to every one of you who sent in cakes and biscuits – you’ll be pleased to hear every single item was sold this year and in total we managed to raise £102.33. This amount will be winging it’s way to Macmillan shortly.

Once again, it was very difficult to judge the entries for our competitions, but Sandy presented our winners with their prizes in Golden Book Assembly today.

Sophie from Beech Class won the prize for the “Best Bunting Design”. It was also agreed that Alfie D from Beech Class and his Mum Kim “baked the best cake” and he was very proud indeed to take home his prize.

And course, the best bit about helping is that you get to taste the wares before anyone else!   A huge thumbs up to all our School Council Members, who organised a wonderful fundraising event.

We cannot thank you enough for all the time and effort you have put into our son. You are amazing and we appreciate everything you have done for us as a family.
