Celebrating World Book Day
Sharing stories together and encouraging a love of reading is something we do every day at school across the curriculum. We celebrate our love of the written word on a daily basis, but on Thursday, along with 100 other countries across the world, we joined in and celebrated World Book Day.
Maple Class enjoyed lots of special activities together including making personised bookmarks.
Pupils in Acorn Class were enraptured by the story of ‘There was an old lady who swallowed a fly’ bought to life delightfully by Selina, their speech and language therapist.
